This is why I am slow to respond at times….my mouse is buried
Another blessed and beautiful morning. It never gets old seeing the sunrise.
In the ongoing redesign of your Facebook profile including the release of the new Timeline, Facebook has moved your Pokes. To some, this doesn’t matter, but to others that spend time throughout the day Poking their friends, this is a big deal! Well, not a big deal, but something that is probably causing people to scratch their heads.
Facebook have moved your pokes to the left side underneath other apps and the list of features you have as part of your account. Your Pokes are no longer listed with your birthday reminders as they have been for years.
This photo shows the Poke location; as well as the Pokes I need to return
I must admit, I like being an early adopter. When Facebook made their new Timeline available to coders or through setting up an application to install the Timeline a couple of months ago, I jumped on it. Now the Timeline is available for everyone and will become the only Timeline on December 22nd.
As we know, not everyone loves change, but everyone does loves to talk about change, and this is no exception. People either love the new Timeline or they hate it, but the reality is, it is here to stay. So why not make the most of it?
This post from Mashable covers a lot of the basics and simple tips you need to customize your Timeline so that you can learn to love it.
Check it out, customize your Timeline and have fun with it!!
Friends, take some time to check out Double D’s Diary. She is the niece of a good friend of mine; help spread the word!
Thank you for finding your way to “Double D’s Diary: Jessica’s Breast Cancer Journey.” Double D’s is more than a just a cup size; it stands for Debby’s daughter which was Jessica’s mom, who died from breast cancer in 1999.
Three generations have now been hit by this disease and Jesse’s wish is to be able to share her journey with you while she does battle like a warrior, post helpful information and tools to guide you and provide inspiration and just as importantly, give you a voice to share amongst your peers, women like you, like your moms, your sisters, aunts, or friends. We are here to support each other and have a community where we can share openly and honestly, without fear. And you men out there, come on in! We want to hear from you too: the sons, husbands, brothers and supporters of your women dressed in pink.
