Bring Back the 40 Hour Work Week

Are you happy in your job?  Do you feel fulfilled by what you do each day for a living? A lot of people do not. We have all heard the advice “do something you love and you will never work a day in your life,” but how many of us can say that we love what we do?  Studies are showing how our unhappiness and our overworked lifestyle is having an affect on our sleep, our health and our relationships. Maybe it’s time to ponder a career change.

  1. one of the most important factor in working is a healthy working environment. if workers do not find the environment accepting and conducive for working, they will have a hard time getting out of bed every morning.

  2. Personally I think even 40 hours is too much, especially if you don’t "love" what you’re doing – and who does all the time? I work a 32 hour week Four days on and three days to get other things done, including side projects of my own, gardening, socializing, self-improvement, learning new things and spending time with family. That’s an awful lot of stuff to cram into three days.
