Lynchburg College PRSSA Chapter

I am honored to have the opportunity to speak with the Lynchburg College Chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America.We will have a discussion tonight about networking and how college students can be better at expanding their own network.  Points of discussion will include face-to-face networking as well as online and social networking.What tips would you have for these students?  What should they do to expand their personal and professional network?I will let you know how it goes in a follow up post!

    That’s great John!I can’t help but agree with a tweet you got from Paul Tran about advising them to protect their brand on social media. If they’re going to use it for networking, than to go with some quality to share and think about what things they want to keep private – (like the facebook account with all the wild party photos.)It’s not about trying to create an image that they can’t live up to, but about being authentic and touchable.Just my .02 If they just follow your lead, they’ll be in good shape!-Gina
