Social media provides you the opportunity to connect with people all over the world. Sometimes you connect with a person that surprises you.  Lindsay Aline is one such person.

I do my best to check out every person that follows me on Twitter.  This helps eliminate and block the spammers as well as to learn more about the new follower.  This is how I start engaging my followers, learning more about them and then saying hello.  Sometimes they respond, sometimes they don't; Lindsay Aline was one that responded.  This surprised me since Lindsay is a recording artist and sometimes social media accounts for the famous and soon to be famous are managed by employees, not the artist themselves.  However Lindsay was different, she responded personally and engaged me in a conversation. Lindsay is an up and coming artist with an incredible voice.  She is also effectively using social media to promote her album and upcoming concerts as well as to engage with her followers and listeners, one-on-one.
